Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in the United States (U.S.), and smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer. The mortality rate of lung cancer is as high as 90%. About half of patients diagnosed with lung cancer are 70 years of age or older. If lung cancer is detected late, the average time from diagnosis to death is only two years. The reason for the high mortality rate of lung cancer is mainly because the early symptoms of lung cancer are not obvious, and the cancer cells easily spread out unknowingly. This makes the treatment more difficult, and the survival rate is also greatly reduced. It is recommended to detect lung cancer as soon as possible before the appearance of symptoms and treat it as soon as possible.
